Creamy Hot Chocolate

INGREDIENTS

  • 250ml Almond Milk

  • 1 Tablespoon Maca Powder

  • 1 Tablespoon Raw Cacao Powder + extra (to serve, optional)

  • 2 Fresh Dates, pitted

  • 1 Teaspoon of Maple Syrup

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Grated Nutmeg

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon + extra (to serve, optional)

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cardamom

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Chilli Powder/Cayenne Pepper

  • A Pinch of Sea Salt

  • 1 Tablespoon Virgin Organic Coconut Oil

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Bring the milk to the boil in a stainless steel saucepan over a medium heat. Once boiled, reduce to a simmer for 3 minutes. Turn the heat off, add the remaining ingredients and stir well.

  2. Add this warm mixture to your high-powered blender and blend.

  3. Pour into your favourite mug, sprinkle with a little extra cinnamon or raw cacao powder and sip away!
