How to Start an Online Wellness Business When You Know You’re Meant to Help People
Let me guess something about you.
You’re the person people say things to like, “I don’t know why I’m telling you this…” or “I’ve never told anyone this before.” or “You are just so easy to talk to".
Your friends ask for your advice. People naturally open up to you. You’re the one they call when they need another perspective, someone to listen, or someone who can somehow see what’s really going on underneath it all.
You may already be a therapist, coach, yoga teacher, healer or wellness practitioner. Or you may simply know that helping people is part of what you’re here to do.

One of the biggest mistakes I see new wellness entrepreneurs make is believing that being good at what they do will automatically create a successful online business.
I wish it worked like that.
You can be an incredible therapist, coach or wellness practitioner and still struggle to explain what you do in a way that makes someone want to work with you.
You still need to understand your problem you solve. You need to know who your ideal client is. You need to create an offer or signature program that solves that one problem for your ideal client. You need clear messaging, marketing and a way of consistently connecting with the people you can help.
In other words, you need a business blueprint.
But this is also where I believe traditional business coaching often misses something incredibly important.
You cannot strategy your way through an upper limit
The way I work as a business mentor for therapists, coaches and wellness practitioners is different because I combine business and marketing strategy with psychology and energy work.
After more than 30 years as an entrepreneur, I know you need both.
You cannot simply manifest a successful wellness business with meditation, mindset work, journaling and woo while avoiding the practical work of building a business.
You need the strategy.
But you can have the perfect strategy, content plan, niche and offer and still find yourself holding back.
You know you should post, but you’re terrified of being visible.
You know what you want to charge, but suddenly start questioning whether you’re worth it.
You create an offer and then spend another three months tweaking it because putting it out into the world feels too vulnerable.
You compare yourself to every other therapist or coach online and wonder why anyone would choose you.
You reach a new level and then somehow find yourself pulling back.
That isn’t necessarily a marketing problem.
You may have hit an upper limit.
And all the business strategies in the world won’t unlock that next level if the woman building the business isn’t ready to step into it.
